Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan secured majority votes to win the vote of confidence from the National Assembly, on Saturday.
The special session was called in a show of strength by Imran himself after his party lost an important seat in the Senate elections.
Imran needed 172 votes to win the confidence vote. He secured 178.

This is the first time a prime minister has undertaken such an exercise after the passage of the 18th Amendment, reported the Dawn.
