COVID-19: J&K reports one death, 112 fresh cases

Twenty-two travellers, two minors and a soldier were among 112 fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir.

An octogenarian succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday. The deseased was an 80-year-old man from Rawalpora, Srinagar.

Among the fresh postive cases, 19 were from Jammu Division and 93 from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 35 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 12,
Pulwama 4, Kupwara 8, Anantnag 9, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 1, Shopian 3, Jammu 15, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 2, Ramban 0 and Reasi 1.

According to the officials, 101 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—26 from Jammu Division and 75 from Kashmir Valley. (GNS)
