Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has said that ‘Secularism’ is the biggest threat to India’s tradition getting recognition on the global stage.
Yogi was speaking at the launch of Global Encyclopedia of Ramayan, an e-book prepared by Ayodhya Institute, while he made these comments.
“This word ‘secularism’ is the biggest threat to develop India’s prosperous traditions and give it a spot on the global stage. The biggest hurdle is this hurdle is this. We have to move away from this and focus on this direction with a pure, moral and healthy life”, he said at the event.
According to an Indian Express report, Yogi urged people not to lose the harmonious spirit of the nation by being involved in petty communal disputes.
He also said that people who are spreading false propaganda about India for their vested interest will pay for their action.
Expressing his emotions on the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya, he said, “The construction of Ram Temple has made the launch of Global Encyclopedia of Ramayan more special.”
He also asserted that the encyclopedia will motivate people to visit Ayodhya and this will make people familiar with integrated aspects of science and spirituality. The encyclopedia was released in English language.
First edition of the global encyclopedia is designed by Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
Hindi and Tamil version of it will also be published later this month. At first 200 volumes of the book will be released as told by Shishir Singh, Director of the Information Department. A board of Editors and advisors across the country and world is set to take up this plan further.
