Three children were among the nine Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
“Bodies of nine martyrs, including three children, and several other people injured have been brought to the Beit Hanoun Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip,” Ashraf al-Qudra, a ministry spokesperson, said in a statement.
Earlier today, Hamas said it fired rockets at Israel, triggering warning sirens in Jerusalem and near the Gaza border, in a response to the injury of more than 300 Palestinians following an attack by Israeli police on Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Israel responded with missile strikes in Northern Gaza leaving at least nine Palestinian dead and several wounded.
According to reports, on Monday evening, Israeli forces raided Al Aqsa Mosque complex again, trees were set ablaze at main square due to sound bombs.
